Guest guest
Dear All, I have seen many literatures originated mainly in the East of India (Bengal and Orissa) that talk about Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's appearance, teachings and pastimes. I understand that Chaitanya Mahaprabhu travelled mainly to South India to preach and spread the message of " Krishna prema " . I am interested to know if there are literatures that mention His teachings and pastimes in South India and whether there is any mention of His visit to Guruvayur temple (like His visits to Jagannath Puri and Vrindavan) or other holy sites in South India. Thanks, Sanju
Guest guest
Dear Sanju, It's nice that you are asking question about Shree Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He is Krishna Himself in the form of His devotee teaching us how we should dovetail everything in the service of the Lord. Regarding your query, we can find Shree Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's visit to South India in Krishnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami's " Chaitanya Charitaamrta " . The general link for the same is http://vedabase.net/cc/ and in particular you can find this link -> http://vedabase.net/cc/madhya/9/en, His pastime of visiting the South Indian places. I have not heard of any pastime which says that Shree Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has visited Guruvayur. Hope this helps.
