Guest guest
A good article. I would like to add a few points. Puraa navam means it was new long ago. the word is puraa nd not pura, town. The word radhaa itself has got a meaning of wealth or prosperity. Radha was the wealth of Krishna , the wealth of His love and mercy which flowed like dhara towards the devotees. It also means that wherever Krishna is there is radha, prosperity. As Lakshmi and Narayna are inseparable , Krishna and radha are also inseparable or one in reality. Lakshmi never leaves the Lord, as azvar puts it 'agalakillEn ena alarmEl mangai urai maarbaa,' so too Radha never leaves Krishna. She also stands for the concrete n mass of love or bhakthi which itself is the greatest wealth for the devotees. saroja Ramanujam Dr. Saroja Ramanujam, M.A., Ph.D, Siromani in sanskrit.
