What Dr. Saroja said about the STAR THIRU ONAM is correct as far as I know. In fact the Word " THIRU " is prefixed to ONAM STAR and ATHIRA STAR as a respect towards Lord MAHA VISHNU and Lord PARAMA SHIVA. Lord VAMANA and Lord THRIVIKRAMA are one and the same. In fact, as far as I know all AVATHARAMS are the AMSAS ( PORTIONS) of God. as you and I are. " EkO dEva; sarva bhUthEshu gooda ,sarva vyApI sarva bhUthAndarAthma, karmAdhyaksha sarva bhUthEshu vAsa: sAkshI chEthO kEvalO NIRGUNASCHA: " . I believe in this definition of GOD. God is a witness for all our deeds whether good or bad, but He is NIRGUNA. He is neither bad or good. He is with in us all and is Omnipotend, Omnipresent and Omniscient. Our inner conscience is GOD. He guides us but He never objects to any of our deeds whether good or bad.
