Guest guest
Respected Sri. Radhakrishnan and other devotees, Radhe Krishna! The slokas 11 and 12 in dasakam 45 were evidently not written by Anantharama Dikshitar. It was already there in the commentary my father has written on Narayaneeyam, much before Anantharama Dikshitar's time. Anyway it does not matter. The slokas are beautiful. I am sending the commentary of Dasakam 45 as an attachment in pdf file. Regards KVG. P.R.RADHAKRISHNAN wrote: SRIMAD NARAYANEEYAM OF BRAHMASRI. Guest guest
Dear Sri. K.V. Gopalakrishnan, I am very much thankful to you for the information about VIRAD ROOPA. I thought that it was written by Late B.Shri.Dikshithar. Can you just tell me about your Father, His name, where you belong etc. However in original NARAYANEEYAM written by B.Shri. Bhattathiripad, the stanzas given by me are not there. Best wishes and warm regards, Radhakrishnan On 08/10/2007, K.V Gopalakrishna <gopalakrishna.kv wrote: Respected Sri. Guest guest
Dear Sri. Gopalakrishnan and friends, In the commentary(explanations( given in the last sentence given in the PDF File sent to me by Sri Gopalakrishna, itself proves that in the original those two SLOKAS about VIRAD ROOPA Anantharama were not in the original and later was added by someone. I do not say that Bramah Shri. Anantharama Dikshithar was the first person to correct the anomalybut I said that it was Late B.Shri. Diksithar who propagated Srimad Narayaneeyam of Bhattathirippad with two additional Slokas about VIRAD ROOPA composed by him. But for his propagation, SRIMAD NARAYANEEYAM and BHATTATHIRIPPAD might not have received universal attention. However, I am thankful to Sri. Gopalakrishna who informed me that someone had added Virad Roopa to NARAYANEEYAM before Late B.Shri .Dikshithar wrote the additional slokas . Till this time I was under the impression that the additional two slokas about VIRAD ROOPA written by Late B. Shri. Dikshithar was the first one. That impression was not correct as informed by Sri. Gopalakrishnan. Once again my heartful thanks to Sri. Gopalakrishna. I take this opportunity to request one and all to point out any mistakes , if committed by me which is out of pure ignorance of facts. May Lord Guruvayurappan bless all of us with health, prosperity and long life. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Radhakrishnan and other devotees, I just sent the commentary for everyone to read, that is all. It does not matter who had added it. But it is nice and beautiful. Not disputing about Anantharama Dikshitar's part in adding it. I have heard Shri. Anantharama Dikshitar's Upanyasas at Bombay and Madras, and I have no doubts regarding his scholarliness. Earlier, I had tried to send pdf files of some chapters through the group channel, but was not going, as does not usually permit such long narratives. It was a trial for that also. I have great regard for Krishna Bhaktas, and especially your write-ups in particular. Kindly rest assured that we have no disputes, and have only likeness of thinking. Warmewst regards KVG.. Guest guest
Jai Sreekrishna Dear Shri Goplakarishnanji/Shri Radjakrishnanji Yes in the vanamala vykhanam published by Guruvayoor Devaswom also there are only 10 slokas in chapter 45. However, in the Narayaneeyam books (Malayalam lipi) published by Giri Trading , there are 12 slokas. Also in the recent edition of Narayaneeyam books published by DC books, only 10 slokas are there, As for Viratpurusha varnana , the same is written beautifully in dasakam 6 also As Shri Gopalakrihsnanji said no matter whoever added the last two slokas in daskam 45, they are very beautiful ones Thank you Gopalakrishnanji for the commentary on chapter 45 Humbly Syamala "K.V Gopalakrishna" <gopalakrishna.kv wrote: Respected Sri.
