[Guruvayur/Guruvayoor] POONTHAM illam- some photos

Hare Krishna ! Guruvayurappa !

Dear Sunil,

The reason why I asked you about any more photos is

so that, we could show the entire group members the

exact spot from where Poonthanam disappeared when Unni

Kannan came to take him back to Vaikuntha. At this

exact spot, a lamp is lit at dusk (sandhya) everyday

to this day. It just gave me a thrill to realize that

I was standing right there, where Lord Krishna came

and took Poonthanam by his hand back to His abode! The

realization was mind boggling!

The side building snap you have shown is the

Pathaayappura (granary - where grains are stored).

I had taken a few snaps when I went - but they are

all hard copies. I will scan and send the same if I

can lay my hands on it !

Hare Krishna !

Dear Sunilge,

Thank you for your detailed explanation on

Thirumanfahmkunnu temple and Edathu puram temple. But

I suspect the Edathu puram temple is not visible from

road side know ? Its situated after the paddy fields

of Thirmumandamkunnu temple's North Nada. The temple

where Poonthanm worshiped in his last years. We can

see the board of the temple on left side while we are

traveling to east direction of the thitumandhamkunu

temple through main road. Through that pocket road we

have to travel around one km. on right side we can see

the small beautiful temple. I have visited the temple

twice. One before 3 years and recently on April with

my wife. I have shared My experience with kannan at

Edathupuram before one year through our navaneetham.

Regards
