Guest guest
HARI AUM Just some thoughts- 1. Does this teach some priciples of how things happen in life? 2. Does this point to the priciple- 'yo yo yam yam thanurbhakthaha shradharchitumichathi thasya thasya achalam shradhdham thameha vidhadhamyaham.'(cha.7 verse 21 of 'gita') 3. if so can one repeat the process and teach others too? 4. if none above what was the process-a chance happening not decipherable, a mystery? Guest guest
Bhagavane Guruvayoorappa ! Dear Bhaktas, This is not an isolated incident . In fact , so many devotees have experienced Bhagavan's direct involvement in Guruvayoor temple , though not all of them are fortunate like Sri. Radhakrishnan. The basic purpose of a temple Deity is to avail easy access of the divine to the devotee . Because of the immense purity of the rituals and the supreme divinity of the Moorthy , the Deity of Guruvayoorappan closely interacts with His devotees just like a human . One can test this by comparing a casual visit and a devotional pilgrimate to Guruvayoor. In this case, my heartfelt congratulations to Sri.P.R. Radhakrishnan for beholding Guruvayoorappan in a human form . Also, I would urge the sceptics to remember that 'Bhakti -Yoga' is beyond human logic . Guruvayoorappan's favoite leela is to play 'hide and seek' with His Bhaktas . Let us surrender ourelves at the lotus feet of Bhaktavalsalan Sree Guruvayoorappan !!! Guest guest
This prompts me to write my experience when I went for bhajan this time. I went for 3 days bhajan and had darshan during deeparadhana during the first two days. We knew someone there and they helped us to get inside to pray, otherwise in the crowd i would not have had darshan even once. On the third day, we decided to offer a vilakku and bought it from a shop. But the person who used to take us was not there that day and I was feeling very sad that I couldnt get darshan and the next day I was going back home. When we got the ghee for vilakku from office, someone whom we have never met and was not working there came to us and told us that we should keep vilakku near the big hundi outside. I said I wanted to keep it in the mandapam inside. So he went and talked to Devaswom people standing there and helped us in going inside. We put the vilakku and had a very nice darshan, nicer than we had the other days. After we finished our darshan the man who helped us went off. I felt so very happy. Guruvayoorappan's leelas. Guest guest
Reading the posts of so manu devootes has prompted me write this . My late mother was very instrumental in my spiritual growth . Once 15 yrs ago - i was at Guruvayur and thought I would purchase " Narayaneeyam " I purchaed the same and bought it to my mother at the hotel . I opened the book and was not able to understand or read the book - It was all in English . I ran all the way back to the counter and advised them that I no longer wanted the book as i am unable to understand it . the person at the counter said to me " Entha Kutty evade ellaram malayalam bhasha medikum Kutty e pushthakam evade vachaku, ara manikoor shesham varooka. ' Please leave thebook here and come and see if any one has purchased your book in half an hour - Nobody here purchases the english version . This is the miracle of bhagavan - I ran all the way back in 15 min and can you believe he said Some one has purchased your english version . I will now give you one with sanskrit and translated one . I was pretty convinced that Lord Krishna himself has purchased the book I still treasure the second purchase till today and has taken with me and when in doubt about a particular stanza just look up the translation the sanskrit uchaaranam etc .etc. I always sing about krishna - my favourite is Krishna leela tharingini , If any one has got all the songs I will pay the cost to obtain a copy . I would like to hear more from any one and everyone who can sing the Krishna leela tharingini or has any CD and cassette
