GURUVAYURAPPANNU KOMBUNDO ( DOES GURUVAURAPPAN

HAS HORNS

Friends

I do not know whether this is a story or which really happened . Lord Guruvayurappan's LEELAS cannot be under-rated.

It so happened that one personnear Ponnani ( Kerala) purchased a Coconut Plant and planted it on the compound of his house. While planting he thought that he would offer the first Coconut from this plant to Lord Guruvayurappan. Lo within five years he got the first coconut from this plant. The coconut was extraordinarily big in size. However, true to his words he wanted to offer it to Lord Guruvayurappan , hence was taking it to Guruvayur. He had to cross the CHAMRAVATTAOM RIVER to reach Guruvayur by service boat. While traveling a fellow traveler asked him whether he would sell the coconut to him for which the person with coconut replied that he was taking it to Guruvayur in order to present it as his offering to Lord Guruvyurappan. Why to Guvayurappan, " GURUVAYURAPPANNU KOMBUNDO" (does He has horns )asked the fellow traveler. It is said that immediately, near the eyes of the coconut two horns appeared.

Even now you can see, if you go to THULABHARAM centre at Guruvayur temple, three coconuts with horns. I do not know as to how ONE became THREE.

These are all Bhaghavan's Leela.

"OM NAMO BHAGAVATHE VASUDEVAYA, OM VISVASMAI NAMAH :

OM NAMOH NARAYANAYA

Best wishes and regards

RADHAKRISHNAN
