Guest guest
" OM NAMO BHAGAVATHE VASUDEVAYA OM VISWASMAI NAMAH " Friends. The word NARAYANA, if simply uttered without Bhakthi or devotion itself will give us SALVATION. Now think, how much we will be benefitted if we utter it with utmost devotion !. AJAMILA MOKSHA shows the power of uttering the word with out BHAKTHI. This has been described in DASAKA 22 " AJAMILOPAAKHYAANA " in Narayaneeyam. " sa mrithyukAlE yamarAjakinkarAn , bhayankarAmsthreenabhilakshaya biyA, purA manAk thwath sthuthivAsanA balAth, juhAva nArAyana nAmakam sutham " The meaning of this stanza is that ' when he saw the demon faced yama kingaras, as death approached him since he had some belief in Lord Narayana during his older days and due to instinct he called the name of NARAYANA which was the name of his son. Again, " durAshayasyApi thadAsya nirgatha, thwadIyanAmAksharamAthra vaibhavAth, purO/bhipEthurbhavadIyapArshadAh, chathuthurbhujAh pItha patA manOramA: " I have also seen in certain versions of NARAYANEEYAM instead of " thadAsya nirgathA " written as " tadAthwa nirgathA " meaning due to fear of death, came out of the mouth automatically. The meaning if the above verse is', although by nature he was of bad character, since he uttered YOUR name unknowingly, when he saw the KAALA DOOTHAS, YOUR DOOTHAS who were wearing yellow silk attire and handsome came to the spot. The 8th verse reads " anEna bhO ! janmasahasrakOtibhi:, kruthEshu pApEswapi nishkruthi: kruthA, yadagrahInnAma bhayAkulA harE-, rithi prabhO , thwath purushA babhAshirE. " The meaning is the KINGARAAS of MahA vishnu told to the Yama kingarAs " although this person meaning AJAAMILA, has done SIN during more than 100 JANMAS , all the SIN which he has done, has vanished by his uttereance of the word " NAARAYANA " Further it is said that AJAMILA lived thereafter for some more days chanting BHAGAVATH BAJANS, and there after was taken to VAIKUNTAM. Friends, please chant NARAYANA, it will save you from all sins. " OM NAMO NARAYANAYA " P.R.RADHAKRISHNAN
