[Guruvayur/Guruvayoor] KILL THE EGO- how?

For practical purposes the 'ego' can be identified as

the mind. The 'mind' has to have 'something' to cling

on. The moment it even touches those 'things'it starts

generating 'seethoshnasukhadukhadhaha'. Since one need

'some thing' to be 'attached' by which the 'ego'

thrives/exists why don't you get 'attached' to

'me'-says Bhagavan. By thinking more and more on any

'thing' you begin getting attached to-'dhyayatho

vishayanpumsaha..'(verse 62 ch 2). It leads to pain,

(dukha yonaya evathe..)anger, delusion and

destruction. 'So why not think and get attached to

'me''- says Bhagavan. All the other 'attachments' has

a beginning and an end (aadhyanthavandhaha..). With me

you reside 'eternally'.

 

But how to accomplish this task?

 

The 'Gita' gives the roadmap-it shows the way for all

those who are keen to begin the journey.

 

It is for one to decide.
