Guest guest
Dear All, Lot of devotees call Bhagavatham as " Paadhaeyam " . Paadhaeyam is what we pack with us to eat on the way when we travel. A packed lunch , dinner or snack can be called " paadhaeyam " . If we consider Life as a travel, Bhagavathotthamaas consider Bhagavatham as the paadhaeyam. This divine food never gets stale and remains as fresh as ever. When ever the traveller gets tired he/she can open this gift from Vyaasa Bhagavan again and again because Sree Naarada maharshi advised him to " cook " this paadhaeyam with Krishna Bhakthi as the main ingredient. Vyaasa Bhagavan prepared it when he was still unhappy after finishing his numerous writings and even the Panchama vedam Mahabhaaratha. So he prepared the packed lunch of Bhagavatham with utmost care and devotion using the best ingredients he could imagine and the flavors added were the best in the right proportion. Unlike other materialistic foods, we can consume this Amritha rasam as much as you want and still you want to have more. In this context Naaraayaneeyam which is a condensed Bhagavatham can be treated like a Nectar of nectar. Let Guruvayuraapan bless us to carry this paadhaeyam all the time with us in our Jeevtihayaathra. Regards and prayers Savitri
