Guest guest
Here is a nice picture of Guruvayoor appan http://bhagavadgitausa.com.cnchost.com/NARAYANEEYAM.htm I found out the answer to my question. Chanting the whole Narayaneeyam takes 5 hours, explaining the meaning of the Narayaneeyam takes 25 hours. So most people who chant it, chant one Daskam a day, imbibe the energy of the chant and understand it. It took 100 days to compose it and they take 100 days to chant it in full. In the Guruvayoor temple ofcourse it is chanted in full daily. I was told they also have a special day set aside in the year when they do it from dawn to dusk. As for rules: It should be chanted before sunrise. guruvayur , laksmikantam <no_reply wrote: > > Hi all, > > Back to my favourite subject. Guest guest
Dear Harig jee, Hee Hee. Thank you. We love the picture too and have made it our computer background and screen saver. The music from P. Leela's http://www.devaragam.com/vbscript/MusicNew.aspx?ArtistID=120 is always playing in the background. So can imagine what heaven we are in. guruvayur , harig preetha <harigpreetha wrote: > > Dear Laksmiji, > > Thanks very much for the wonderful picture of Lord Guruvayoorappan, for which I have been longing for a long time.
