Guest guest
HARI AUM The latest NAVANEETHAM has surpassed all the earlier one in one thing-there is heavy, medium and light materials to read at all times and for all people. Special thanks to Shree Sukumarji for arranging Shree Balendu's 'Neythiri'. Induji and Seemaji have provided a wealth of info on Kottarakkara and Udupi temples. I had heard (not confirmed)that the idol at Udupi is getting smaller in size !! Binuji's Aluva Sivarathri is very timely. Veenaji's Thiruvalluvar is a good beginning. Hope we can see more on the other Great Indian Saints. The 'sari' episode taeches us a very inportant lesson-of 'VALUE'. Dr Sarojaji's is a good relish for all Krishna Bhakthas. Th Gita verses chosen by Veenaji is the crux of the message Bhagavan gave to Arjuna who was fast scaling down to total despondence and tamasicc inactivity. Bhagavan has clearly put in BALACK & WHITE-NO ROOM FOR INACTIVITY WHATSOEVER. Rajuji's poem on Soorpaneka was very evocative and piece on Parameswara Bhagavatar deserves special mention. Lastly though the most important was about our own 'GOVINDA'. Shree Gopalakrishnaji's piece on 'him' has added the 'charm' to this issue. All said and done the credits goes to: Shree Sunilji and his entire editorial team for bringing out this edition. Looking forward to contributions from newer members which shall add novelty and freshness in forthcoming issues. Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA Why delete messages? Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya Shri Balagopal has said it all and left nothing for me to complement. I have only two regrets. 1. There are few if not many who cannot read Malayalam and enjoy it fully. I have only one suggesion that at this young age of 71 I am learning Sanskrit and I am glad to add that I am one of the Honor Students. So if there is a will there is a way and all those who could not read/write Malayalam, should make an earnest start. 2. Shree Balendu's Neythiri is really good and at the same time has not missed anything from the original of Bhattathiri's creation. My regret is at the rate of one Dashakam in Navaneetham every month, I have no patience to wait 99 more months. So I am hoping to get a copy of the book somehow sooner.
