Hi all Bhakthas,

I would like to discuss something about Great Mahabharatha.

The greatest text which is discussed nowadays all around the world is Mahabharata. It illustrates the different levels of management and teachings for success in life. The predominant figure in the greatest epic is Lord Sreekrishna. He is considered as the best manager ever in the world who won the battle for pandavas without using a weapon (but once he used his weapon but not for killing kauravas but to cover the sun) throughout the war. His words are accurate and sharp which serves the required purposes.

I was very much attracted by the following story which reveals his managerial efficiency and wisdom.

After the fall of great bhishma it was the turn of karna to lead the battle. The day before the battle to begin, Indra appeared before karna as a Brahmin and begged for his armor and “kundalas†which protected him from weapons. Knowing that the Brahmin was actually Indra himself, karna gave his armor and kundalas. Indra was satisfied and in return he gave karna a weapon called Shakthi which could be used to kill anyone but could be used only once.. So karna kept it for Arjuna. Lord Krishna was aware of that.

So when the battle had begun, he called for Khadolkacha, son of Hidumbi and Bhima for guiding the battle against karna. Khadolkacha along with his army of rakshasas and pandavas started doing his job. He was ferocious in the battlefield and he was also a maayavi and used all his magical powers against kaurava army. He killed numerous kauravas and as time passed the number of kauravas started diminishing. They prayed karna for help. So karna had no other choice than using the weapon named Shakthi which he had kept for Arjuna. So he took the weapon and used it against Khadolkacha.

At the time when he fired the weapon, Khadolkacha was at the sky and the weapon hit him and he fell down. Khadolkacha knew that he was dying, so he expanded his body. When he fell down, he crushed down almost one akshahowny (around 1 lakh 8 thousand members ( In total there were 18 akshahowny for kurukshetra war 7 for pandavas and 11 for kauravas )).

The lord Krishna cheered up. “Ooh Arjuna is saved!!!!!!!!â€

All among the pandavas felt gloomy and Bhima was much emotional about his son’s death. Krishna went to Bhima to console him.

Lord said – “Bhima, your son was an excellent warrior and he made a tremendous effort in the battlefield for us. Indirectly he saved Arjuna’s life. Now it is sure that pandavas will win the battle. Your son has served his purpose. He has become a hero. “

Bhima was still weeping like a child.

Lord said -

“Listen to me, Bhima even though Khadolkacha is your son, his mother is Hidumbi so he is a rakshasa by birth. He has got tamogunas and his exertion was obstructing the yagas performed by sages and killing them. If he was not killed in this battle, I might have to kill him since my duty is protection. As he is killed in the battlefield we will always be memorized by everyone as a hero. So shed your dejection, Bhima. â€

How is the tactics of the lord???

He is the cleverest as well as good in applying his idea. This makes all of us his devotee..

“Oom namo Bhagavathe Vasudeevayaâ€

Regards,

Sreejith
