Guest guest
HARI AUM Following the Bhagavan's suggestions while communicating/posting in this forum will help to keep off all ill feelings, and maintain harmony and peace very essential for the healthy interaction of minds. Freedom to disagree is personal but to create an atmosphere wherein it can be expressed without fear of being ridiculed/admonished/laughed at is fundamental to growth and developing more clarity. Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA Chapter 17. TRANSLATION Austerity of speech consists in: 1. avoiding speech that offends/agitates 2. speaking truthfully 3. it should be likeable. Not putting off the other person with words of ridicule, belittling, mocking etc.Be kind and respectful even when you disagree completely.(..'ma vidwishavahai') 4. It shall be beneficial/useful to the listener This easily said and seemingly very simple suggestion from Bhagavan will occur ONLY WHEN one PRACTISES(i.e consistent and persistent-not on and off)the SELF STUDY of scriptures/religious books/epics/books on ethics, values, morals and other eternal principles regularly. PURPORT One should not speak in such a way as to agitate the minds of others. This is penance as far as talking is concerned. At the same time, such talk should be very pleasurable to the ear. By such discussions, one may derive the highest benefit and elevate human society. There is a limitless stock of scriptural/religious literature, and one should study this. This is called penance of speech. Save all your chat conversations. Find them online at http://in.messenger./webmessengerpromo.php
