Dear All,

These are 24 names of Vishnu to be remembered at different occasions.

It is said that sabda (sabda), sparsha (touch), roopa (form), rasa

(taste), gandha (smell) and the positive energy or vibration coexist

with words. Repeated chanting each word creates different results in

our body since effort to utter each word uses different muscles and

brings different effect in the saadhaka. We will try to analyze the

meaning of each name in detail every day and try to think how it is

relevant to chant that particular name at that particular time. First

let us take Vishnu and see why we are asked to chant that during

illness and taking medicine. I will contribute my understanding and

explanation, please, everybody try to come up with your explanation.

It will be fun. Nobody is write or wrong. What ever is done to praise

His glory is service to Him and all His devotees. So in the next 24

days, we can learn as much as possible about all the 24 names of

Vishnu. If one is not able to contribute because of time restriction

or any other reason, do not feel bad. I am sure that I will not be

able to give appropriate explanation for all names. But there are

people like Sarojaji, who can enlighten us. Meaning given in the

Vishun Sahasra naamam may help us a lot. It will be interesting to

read and understand different ways of interpretations.
