A unique and century-old miniature edition of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was offered to Sree Guruvayurappan here on Thursday.Pingala Rajagopal, hailing from Chandranagar, Palakkad, made the offering and handed over the book to devaswom administrator at GuruvayurAccording to Rajagopal, the book was used by his ancestors. He is not sure about how old it is.The tiny Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit, with 2.5 cm length, 1. 75 cm width and 1 cm thickness, contains verses from Manusmrithi, Vishnu Sahasranamam and Gajendra Moksham. The verses can be read with the help of the lens fixed on the tiny box which contains the edition.

Foot Note: Hope Devasom wont sell this to somebody who does not derseve to have this precious Grantham.

Dear Krishna PrasadjiWell, I understand the amount of frustration you have, with regard to various activities by people particularly in our Hindu temples. It is a pity, we are unable to do anything to protect our interests/cultures, too...... Fortunately or unfortunately, our hands are tied and all what we can do is just to watch and see many illegal and atrocities happening under our nose itself.
