She used to clean the floor of her house with cow dung. After cleaning she always threw away the left over to the courtyard and each time she will chant Krishna’s name. There was a Krishna Temple near her house. As she was throwing cow dung each time calling “Krishnaâ€, that cow dung appeared on the deity of Krishna of that temple, because Krishna took it as her offering. Every evening when the Priest opened the door of the sanctum, the deity would be filled with cow dung. The Priest thought somebody is doing this knowingly to destroy Krishna’s deity. The Priest was very angry and he was in search of the person, who is doing this One evening, on the way to the temple, the Priest got the smell of the Cow dung, which was coming from the house of the Woman. When he watched the house, the woman came out with a vessel. That was full of cow dung and she started throwing it to the courtyard calling Krishna. The Priest lost all his temper. He approached the innocent woman and started shouting at her. The woman could not understand the matter. She was scared. After scolding the woman, the priest pulled her hand and twisted it. Her hand got hurt and started to bleed. Then the Priest left her. She was shocked and started crying. After that the Priest went to the Temple thinking that he has done a good job. He thought that, Krishna would be happy with him because he gave punishment to the woman who was abusing Lord Krishna. As usual he opened the door of the sanctum. He was shocked .The hand of the deity was wounded and bleeding .The Priest started crying and ran back to the house of the Woman. The woman was frightened. The Priest explained her every thing with tears and he begged for her pardon. She was overwhelmed and forgot all the pains and the Priest was forgiven. Guest guest
Really touching story.... I want to share something about a Warrier who was Vilwamangalam Swamiyar's assistant. Once the Warrier asked Swamiyar, in which form to worship the Lord. Swamiyar, sarcastically, said 'in the form of buffalo'. The innocent Warrier believed it completely and thereafter meditated Lord Guruvayurappan in the form of a buffalo. Later one day at Guruvayur temple the Keezhsanthi was not able to take out the Bimbam for Seeveli. He tried his level best, but the idol was not coming out of the Sreekovil. Nobody present there, including Swamiyar himself could understand the reason. Then a voice came from the crowd which said, "just tilt that Bimbam; it is the horns of the buffalo that's stuck at the door. If you tilt it, you shall take it out smoothly". Everybody was stunned, and looked to see who was that abusing the lord, by addressing Him as buffalo. But then, the Keezhsanthi tilted the Bimbam and it came out as if nothing had happened. It was the Warrier who used to meditate Krishna in the form of Buffalo. Swamiyar remembered the incident, and understood his mistake in humiliating the innocent devotee. His Bhaktas are so dear to Lord Guruvayurappan that He appears himself in front of his Bhaktas in whichever form they worship him, and accept whatever is offered with pure devotion.
