HARI AUM

Facing a situation, a crisis, daunting tasks,

unnerving calls, tiring attempts, confusions,

desperateness,... the list of things LIFE throws up

time and again are but the very nature of LIFE itself.

Or to say -that is LIFE. The moment the graph

steadies, understand the LIFE has left. But during the

journey, LIFE at times becomes an impossibility. As

LIFE is throwing up, one is also forced to throw up

one's hands. This is dangerous. It not only deprives

one of his pride, it also demeans him. Puts him into

shame.

This was where Arjuna was while taking stock of the

huge army of Kauravas that had taken position to begin

the war. He started off bravely and wanted to see the

who all in his enemy camp. Sooner than he saw, he fell

into the deep pits of helplessness and quickly started

to wallow in the murkiness of despair.

Bhagavn through his famous retorts (verses 2 & 3 ch.2)to

Arjuna has very explicitly put forth 'what one should

not be' and 'what action' should be taken and with

'what posture'.

Get these verses sink into the very psyche and let it

remain always at call, for without this nothing much

will help us to overcome. This is the stance all

winners take up knowingly or unknowingly. There isn't

any alternative.

So be ready with the verses on the lips before the

situations (of LIFE) strike one down

Regards

Balagopal
