Milestones and Looking ahead

The milestones are important to have a sense of

achievement. A time to celebrate. This shall also be

considered for a bit of review and introspection in a

positive way. i.e to find out how more value can be

added-loking ahead.

 

Since I joined the group the numbers have grown ten

times over, though, there are only few names still

active from that era. As the members stay longer

expectations may also spurt.'NAVANEETHAM' brought in a

sense of novelty. 'Ayurvidya' gave a new opening. The

'Memo' to the Devaswom on 'Udayasthamana puja' kept

the adrenalin flowing. The '1 crore namajapa' is the

present glue though it has become a routine. I don't

know about the Sanskrit class. Looking at the postings

I always feel very strongly that there are enough

members who are fairly versed in lot of aspects on

Bhakthi, Spirituality, Religions, Epics, Puranas,

Ethics, Values, Morality, Rituals, Sanskrit as a

language and its grammar... etc. A little more focus

and addressing the topics more deeply but in a crisper

and shorter length may find the participation in the

group more enduring. i.e people will come and stay

too. I agree that discussions do occur and sometimes

with a lot of intensity; but these mostly occur in

discussing matters not really in the practical realm

of the members. However, if one feel that it is

important, it will be more meaningful if they are

willing to take leadership and take some concrete ,

possible, judicious actions aiding to resolve the

concerned issues.

 

Hope more ideas and suggestions will come forth and

take the GROUP to a higher plane of existence.

 

Lastly my 'pranams' and 'prayers' to all the

individuals who put in their time and tide in the

upkeeping of the GROUP. In these times when each and

everyone is hardpressed for time, it is a great

service these persons are doing in the name of our

Lord, God Shree Guruvayurappan. Truly blessed are they

and much pleased to be in their company, and hope to

remain so in the coming days too.
