Dear Girijaji,

Excellent description. You took us into the temple and we had a good darshan just by reading your wonderful description with bhaavam. Thank you so much for sharing your " nirvruthi " . Again reinforces the greatness of satsangam of a group like this!

May Guruvayuraapan's blessing be with you all the time!

Dear Girijaji,

My heart full-filled with pleasure after reading your e-mail. You could get

extra second darshan in Guruvayoor that means really he had given you a special

darshan. Also you could take darshan in Pazhayannor Bhagawati Kshethram. Since

I am a native of Pazhayannoor, I have lot of experience with the Kshethram. I

have born and brought up there and in our childhood, we used to go to the temple

everyday (somedays both in the morning and evening). I want to mention a few

about Pazhayannor Bhagwati with a little knowledge of myself to the group

members.

Pazhayannor Bhagwati Shree Annapoorneswari had come as a small girl child with

Cochi Maharaja in his umbrella on a request of Lord Shree Krishnan of the

Pazhayannor temple. After reaching there, she asked for food, the namboodhirees

given her food in the thidappali itself and after a while the child was

disappeared. Therefore, we can take her darshan in the thidapalli only. There

is a true faith that since she has come from outside, those are coming from

outside and settled in Pazhayannor, there is no doubt, they will get her

blessings and slowly they will become rich. And of course, those persons were

in the Pazhayannor area and settled in other places also will get a good life

and her blessings will be forever. This is our real experience. In the earlier

period, in each and every house, one girl’s name will put as ‘Annapoorni’.

We have faced lot of difficulties in our childhood and now we got a convenient

life with her kindness and

blessings. Pazhayanoor Bhagwati Shree Annapoorneswari Orikkalum Kai

Vidugayilla!

With prayers,

(Annapoorni Venkatesh)

Dear Guruvayur family,

my husband and i had the fortune of visiting the lord's abode on

Sunday, 22nd June.

Through a two and a half hour of pleasurable waiting in the line ,on

a muggy ,rainy evening and chanting His name constantly ,we were

in front of His Srikovil, at about 8.30 pm and had the most

beautiful darshanam of Him ,soon after His 'athazha pooja'.

As it always happens with the swelling crowds of devotees at any

place of worship, we were also being herded out in seconds of

having seen His beautiful face through the shadows of the flickering

oil lamps in the Sanctum and the greed in me of not having seen

enough of Him was hurting ,when lo, my sari pallu got entangled on

the metal railing of the divider at the temple and while the

security man un tied the tangle ,we had that one little extra second

to see that bautiful roopam ,a wee bit longer!

Maha Vishnu Chaitanyam in that little Unnikrishnan' s roopam did the

trick again !

Such is the love and game of this Eternal prankster!

And all through the wait,my dear fellow devotees ,i had all of you

in my mind and repeatedly asked for His love and blessings for all

of this lovely extended family of mine!

I must also tell you what happened next at our visit at Pazhayannur

Bhagavathy kshetram ,which happens to be our ancestrol village deity.

We obtained receipts for pushpanjaali in the names of all family

members and had to present it at the Bhagavathi temple.

Instead ,we ended up presenting the same at the Guruvayurappan

prathista ,inside the temple and when the pooja was over and we did

our pradakshinam and namaskaram, repeating the divine Mother's

name ,the tantri ,came out and said, " bhagavathi ambalam purathanu

ketto....... ..idu guruvayurappananu. .... " .

To us ,it looked like unni kannan had not had enough of us and hence

accepted what was meant for the mother!

We later offererd the same puspanjali to Bhagavathi and then

proceeded to our kula devatha ,Manapully Bhagavathi.

Dear all,

Radhe Krishna!

Anything, if one gets just for the asking, the importance and value of

it is not realised. Similarly, if we can just straightaway walk in

into the temple and have darsan, we may not realise the value of

Guruvayoorappan's darsan. But if we wait in the queue for hours

chanting His stotras, and then have darsan, we do appreciate the value

of our effort better! Is it not?
