Guest guest
Dear Mr.John, In Tamilnadu when any person is blessing, he/she would bless saying " pathinarum petru peru vazvu vazga " . roughly translating to " live a great life with possession of all 16 wealths " ! As you said the piece may be part of Abirami Thudhi, I am not sure of it. These 16 types are wealth are described as a poem at an Appar Kovil at Tirunallur. The poem is sung by Appar, one of the great poets of Tamil and is dedicated for Abirami. A poem by Kalamega Pulavar gives the list of the 16 boons that would render a blessed life. " thudhi vaaNi viiram visayam sandhaanam thuNivu dhanam madhi dhaaniyam saubaaggiyam bOgam - aRivu alzhagu pudhidhaam perumai aRam kulam nOvagal pUN vayadhu padhinaaRu pERum tharuvaay Madhuraip ParaaparanE!
