Guest guest
Dear Rameshji and other members of all groups, It is very heartening to know that more and more devotees of the Lord are taking to chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam.  I humbly request all members of the groups to spread the message of mass prayer to all friends and relatives, so that we all pray together to the Lord, like all Devas with Mother Earth went to the shores of the Milky ocean and prayed to the Lord to find a solution for the oppression from Kamsa and Ravana which we find in Bhagavatam and Ramayanam respectively.   While we can involve ourselves in all sorts of discussions to bring peace and prosperity to the world, let us spend an hour a day, the Sandhya time after completing our Nitya-karmas, for mass prayer.   Prayer alone can save the world. Love KVG. ramesh achar wrote: Dear Sir, and Madam,  You are doing greatest work, nothing is more than Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam, its so good to see like these messages.  Females , other caste peoples can all recite Sahasranamam, after all god has given this Manushya janma to chant his 1000 names , and in phalashruthi it says, Shuchihsthagatha manasaha, it purifies our thoughts and defenitely devotees who are all taking part in this mass Vishnu sahasranaamam will have lot of blessings of Lord Mahavishnu.  I am also made compulsory to chant Vishnusahasra naamam at my temple everyday. It will bring world peace for sure.  Sri Veera Anjaneya anthargatha Sri Seethapathi Ramachandra bless all of us , Ramesh Achar --- On Wed, 9/7/08, K.V Gopalakrishna <gopalakrishna.kv wrote: K.V Gopalakrishna <gopalakrishna.kv [iyer123] Mass Prayer- Vishnu Sahasranamam chanting "Brahmins group" <4brahmins >, Pattars , "Brahmins group" <4brahmins >, "iyer123" <iyer123 >, guruvayur Wednesday, 9 July, 2008, 5:49 PM Dear all, Here is a response for the mass prayer movement of chanting Vishnu Sahasranamam everyday during Sandhya time which is meant only for prayer. (3) It is my personal experience that mass prayers do have a positive effect, and can be organised, provided our people can get rid of their ultra-religious casteism which divides society at large, and the Hindu religion in particular, instead of uniting it.   I feel one should not discriminate by "caste", at least when question of God and devotion comes, and when God Himself is impartial to all, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. So I suggested that mass prayer does not necessarily mean that everybody should assemble at one place and chant together, which may be difficult to organise, but let each person do it at his residence at >the same time of Sandhya which is around 6.30 to 7 P.M., after finishing their routine nitya-karmas like Sandhyavandanam, etc. I suggested Vishnu Sahasranamam just because it is generally accepted by all. Then the question of people from other countries, eg. U.S etc whose time does not match ours and hence have to do the chanting at odd hours, etc., to synchronise with ours, came up. I suggested that although such chanting does match the mass prayer movement "timewise", it defeats the purpose of making use of the Sandhya time which is meant only for prayer. So I suggested that let every person perform the chanting during Sandhya time in their country, irrespective of whether it matches with our time or not. Although it would be good to respect the idea in letter and spirit, it would be enough if we respect the idea in spirit rather than in letter, and use the time for the welfare of the world which is reeling under extreme pressure due to activities of bad people. This is the background. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Sanckarji and other friends, Namaskarams. Good that you are already chanting the Vishnu Sahasranamam every saturday. On other days, if everyone cannot assemble at the temple, they can as well perform the chanting in their respective homes, which is good for the house as well as for the welfare of the world.
