Dear all,

 

This slokam is from the book of unusual slokaas. Author again is unknown.

 

à¤à¤•à¤‚ वसà¥à¤¤à¥ दà¥à¤µà¤¿à¤§à¤¾ करà¥à¤¤à¥à¤® बहव: सनà¥à¤¤à¤¿ धनà¥à¤µà¤¿à¤¨: धनà¥à¤µà¥€ स मार à¤à¤µà¥ˆà¤•à¥‹ दà¥à¤µà¤¯à¥‹à¤°à¥ˆà¤•à¥à¤¯à¤® करोति य:

ekam vasthu: dvidhaa kartthum bahava: santhi dhanvina:

dhanvee sa maara aevailko dvayoraikyam karothi ya:

 

There are many capable archers who can break or divide an object or target into two. But there is only one archer in the whole world who can combine or untie two people, and he is Kaamadevan. (his arrows are flowers)

 

 

I typed the Sanskrit version in Google indic. It is far from perfect. Please excuse the mistakes.
