(Toungue has no bones but it can break many a bones). 'Akshar' never perishes. Long before Bhima smashed Duryodhana's thighs and ended the war, the act was already spoken by sage Maitreya as a curse, when he was slighted by Duryodhana. The Rishi had gone to the palace to counsel Duryodhana to reconcile with Pandavas. Duryodhana being Duryodhana cared a damn for the Rishi. This angered the sage and he spoke : " Since, slighting me thou declinest to act according to my words, thou shalt speedily reap the fruit of this thy insolence! In the great war which shall spring out of the wrongs perpetrated by thee, the mighty Bhima shall smash that thigh of thine with a stroke of his mace! The act was spoken by the actor (Bhima) himself the same time when Duryodhana showed his thighs to Draupadi while she was dragged in to the Palace assembly by Dushaasan: " ..
