The essence of Bhagavan's life and mission is well captured by you in the following sentence.

 

"....Even at that stage he was simply smiling, unruffled"

Let that be the GOAL for everyone. Being HAPPY & PLEASANT in itself is 'SATWIC'.('gita' 14/6).

 

(This reminds of Meher Baba (1894-1969) who often used the expression "Don't worry, be happy" when cabling his followers in the west. Bobby McFerrin noticed a similar poster in the apartment of the jazz band Tuck & Patti in San Francisco and inspired by the expression's charm and simplicity, McFerrin wrote the now famous song in 1988, a pretty neat philosophy in four words, I think.)

Sree Krishna a different view Sree Krishna was/is treated as Avathara. Most of the stories written to glorify him as incarnation of Sree Maha Vishnu.Here I tried to see him from a different viewpoint. He was a perfect human being, king and karma yogi. Sree Krishna was born in a prison, a unique event in human history. His parents were prisoners. From the first moment of birth his life was in danger. He was saved from homicide miraculouslyand was taken to the cowherd community in Dwaraka after a perilous journey across the Yamuna.Enemies followed and tried their best to kill him. Sree Krishna escaped many attempts on his life. Luck always kept him company.He was brought up in the company of cowherds. From the very childhood he was sent to fields with elders to herd the cows. Even in childhood he

fought injustice. Sree Krishna fought with Kaliya (snake) and taught it a lesson and reformed it.Sree Krishna was against superstitious rites and customs. He advised against the worship of Indra and taught him a lesson for his arrogance.Though he fought enemies he always loved peace. Being a Karma yogi he fought enemies. His uncle Kamsa the King of Rakshasha sent many strong warriors to kill him. Sree Krishna never went to Kamsa to fight with him until Sree Krishna was invited and Kamsa directly tried to kill Him.Sree Krishna was always humble. He lived with Sandipani, his Guru in very humble ways. He was doing all types of household work there and mingling with his friends as an ordinary student. Even while he was king he respected his old relationship with his friends. He treated both his sets of parents- biological and foster- equally and respectfully. His relationship with a indigent friend Kuchelan is unparallel in the

history of mankind. At the sight of Kuchela he ran towards him, received him with great love, took him to the palace, and washed his feet. Later Kuchela was seated equal to him at Sree Krisha’s private room and asked his wife to extend hospitality personally. Is there any other instance in the world to show such great relationship between a king and a beggar.Many people misinterpreted the love of Radha towards Krishna. It was a perfect love of an elder girl to an younger, smart and lovely boy. Some gave a lot of wrong co lour to it. Many stories were written.Sree Krishna was a perfect peace-loving Karma Yogi. So far as possible he avoided conflict. Sisupal abused him a hundred times but Sree Krishna pardoned him. Sree Krishna went into action only at the unavoidable moment. To avoid war, he left the main land and went to Dwaraka, a place beyond the sea. Sree Krishna was deputed to negotiate with Kauravas. While

proceeding towards Hastinapuran, Panchaly with folded hands and tears, requested him to remember the insult inflected upon her in the Durbar of Kauravas showing her unattended to hair. Sree Krishna’s reply shows his respect to love of peace. He told her “Human blood has more value than your hair(which was a symbol of her chastity)â€. Though he respected peace highly he never showed any reluctance to discharge his duty as king and warier. As a karma yogi and king he performed duties with utmost courage and devotion.At Hastinapuram he did not enjoy the hospitality of king Dhudatrashtra. He lodged in an ordinary house of Vidhura.All his endeavors for peace settlement failed He got only a curse from Gandhari to the effect that that he will die of the agony caused by the death of his children. Even at that stage he was simply smiling, unruffled.So great Sree Krishna was.
