Needless to say that I feel very happy to be one among this wonderful "family". After a brief period I want to start my Nama Japam to our Koti Nama Japam blog with a special prayer to Lord Guruvayoorappan to weaken the fiery Gustav that is threatening the Gulf Cost states of Louisiana and Texas. I am sure our prayers will be heard by HIM and urge all GURUDEVS (GURUvayoorappan DEVoteeS..the term used by our Sunil Menon) who are in USA to post a prayer in our Kotinama Japam today and seek HIS protection for all around that area. Perhaps, I feel that is the reason, HE hurried my hospital trip one week in advance and grant me a fresh lease of life and gave me the "Time" to do this Japam today. An aged gentleman whom I was fond of calling as 'mama' used to always advise me thus: "Bhaktanmare Ayyappanum Guruvayurappanum orikalum kai vidulla; ithuvare vittathaaitu saritram illa", whenever I was transiting periods of crises. Indeed true. Sincere prayers are always answered. My prayers and those of all our members are always there for your ayurarogyasoukhyam. May Sri Guruvayurappan bless and protect. Best regards R. Nice, indeed, to read our beloved Chandraji's mails, especially after his most recent experience, wherein Guruvayoorappan has taken special care of His dear devotee by advancing his catheterisation by one week , knowing very well that Gustav is visiting the state of Texas. As we always say, every act of the Lord has a purpose behind it. All GURUDEVS (as expressed by Sunilji) all over the world will offer prayers for the welfare of those living in these areas and contribute more and more for the Koti Nama Japam. I fervently pray to the Lord to bestow on Chandraji, a century of "AYUR-AROGYA -SOUKHYAM" and continue his service to the Lord and humanity. As expressed by Shri. Kasturirangan in his mail just received, "Bhaktanmare Ayyappanum Guruvayurappanum orikalum kai vidulla; ithuvare vittathaaitu saritram illa", has not the Lord promised us, "Thesham Nithyabhiyuktanam Yogakshemam vahamyaham" ! He will never go back on His word! I take this opportunity to appeal to all "GURUDEVS" again to use the Sandhya (dusk) time for prayer, (the Mass Prayer movement I suggested and accepted by most of our groups) , to chant Vishnu Sahasranamam for the sake of World Peace and the welfare of one and all of the inhabitants of this planet. And I am sure that all our members must be defenitely praying to Lord for the well-being of anybody who is suffering, eventhough all of them may not be responding to the mails everythime.
