One is on September 30th in Urakam temple. Urakam Devi temple is about 5 miles south of Trichur. The songs are about Devi written by Narayanankutty Menon and sung by Shenkottai Hariharasubramanian..Sep 30th is the first navaratri day in the temple.It is sponsored by Dr. C.V. Krishnan, who belongs to Urakam. The second concert is on Dec 6th is about Guruvayurappan, written by Narayanankutty Menon and it is sung by Bombay sisters. Composition is done by Sangeethakalanidhi Sri T.K.Govind Rao. The location is in a hall next to Nanaganallur Guruvayurappan temple in Chennai .The concert is sponsored by Guruvayurappan temple association and Thyagarajasabha of Nanganallur. Both concerts are free..We plan to be there for both the concerts. If any of the devotees is interested or knows anybody who is interested in these concerts, please do attend and get the blessings of Devi and Guruvayurappan. It is nice if we are able to meet some of us during that occasion too.
