Dear all,

A grandfather was telling stories to his grandchildren. First he told the story of Gajendra moksham where an elephant who was King Indradyumna in the previous life was bitten by a crocodile who was a Gandharva called Huhu in the previous life. Both of them were transformed because of the curses they received. Elephant could not relieve himself from the jaws of the crocodile and started praying Vishnu Bhagavan. Because the elephant was struggling for a long time, his voice was very feeble and barely audible. Even then Vishnu bagavan heard, came and with Sudarshana chakram cut off the head of the crocodile and saved the elephant. The elephant became the king and crocodile became the Gandharva.

After this story grandfather told about the story of Draupadi. Dushshasana was trying to disrobe Draupadi. After all her attempts to prevent it failed, she cried for Krishna and even though Krishna's abode was Dwaraka and was far from Hasthinapura where Draupadi lived, Krishna heard the cry and came to help Draupadi.

After hearing the stories, one smart child had a question: " Grandpa, how far is Vaikundham? How loud we have to call for Him to hear? Is Vaikundha as far as the cry of the elephant could be heard? Is the distance to Vaikundha from here is the same as the distance between Dwaraka and Hasthinapura? "

Grandfather told : " Dear children, when the cry or call of the devotee is sincere, it is heard in Vaikundha. Let that be feeble, unclear or let that even be the sound of a few drop of tears falling on the ground, Lord of Vaikundha will hear. He is ever watching and listening and He is with in hearing distance of every cry coming out of a sad devotee's heart. He is the most compassionate God and His Vaikundham moves from place to place depending on the need. Children, He answers our sincere prayer in a way that is the best for us. "

Children were happy and relieved to know that their Lord is Omnipresent and He is with in reach for them from any corner of the world.

Regards and prayers

Savitri
