Guest guest
HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA In one of my regular phone calls to my Home at Guruvayoor , I was told that the temple atuhorities has started prasada oottu for the night also in the temple though for a limited number of devottees and the number for the day time has been increased. Though it was heartening to know about the same , I was a bit wondered whether the deserving Devottees will be getting it . By the word deserving I meant not the ones sitting around the temple and has taken begging as their means of life but the Devottees comming from far away places and has limited money with them for their boarding and lodging at Guruvayoor where the Hotel and Lodges' charges are quite high. I have seen a number of times groups of such devottees including women and children sleeping in the pavements or in the open East Nada at night in order to have the Nirmalyam and Vakacharthu Darshan. After the Darshan they have to return with empty stomachs to their native places due to lack of money. It is my earnest wish that such Devottees should be taken care for the prasada oottu and if some light break fast also will be served to them - like a glass of tea and a small quantity of Upma - ( like what we get at Mayur Vihar Temple New Delhi )afer the morning Darshan ,it will be the best thing every one could do to Guruvayoorappan whose love and attention to his Devottees is unlimited. Sincerely Gopalakrishnan
Guest guest
Dear Gopalakrishnanji, Good to learn about the Prasada oottu at night. I agree with you about the deserving devotees and admire your goodness to think about those devotees from far- who needs food and shelter more than localities. Please let us know what we all can do as group. Meantime, let me pray to Guruvayoorappan to extend the food and shelter to all deserving devotees in coming months and years. We visited Mayur Vihar Guruvayoorappan Temple early this year and I was really really impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the temple. You all have done an excellence job of creating and maintaining a beautiful Guruvayoor temple for devotees in Delhi. Guest guest
Hare Krishna ! I fully agree to the suggestions raised by Shri Gopalakrishnaji. While it is a fact that for Kannan all are alike, some really deserving ones are missed out. The authorities should look into this and take appropriate action so that misuse is controlled. A communication from this group will work? Best regards On 06/09/2008, menon_sunil <menon_sunil wrote: Dear Gopalakrishnanji,Good to learn about the Prasada oottu at night.
