Dear all,

Once a woman read a comparison of Bhagavad Gita and Kalpa Vriksha. After reading that, she wanted to imagine a Gita Vriksha in her mind exactly like the one she read about. She imagined it, then she wanted to hang some banners from the mental Kalpa vriksha and illuminate and decorate the tree with some colored bulbs.

She first chose three sloka gems from Gita told by Krishan to Arjuna , got it ceremoniously printed on huge banners and then she chose another favorite sloka that was told by Sanjaya and got that also printed. She hung them beautifully from four sides of the tree. The colored bulbs she collected from sajjanaas were devotion, love, kindness, sacrifice, shamam, damam, uparathi, thithiksha, sraddha and samadhana. She hung them all on the tree and the tree looked magnificent- beyond expression by the words of any language, even Sanskrit.

She enjoyed looking at it and saw that the lights were reflected in the eyes of all devotees standing around the tree. She was delighted and still her eyes were moist because she could not see the two eyes she was searching for, the eyes of the person who planted the tree. She knew that those eyes were omnipresent and were there in every leaf, every branch and everywhere, taking care of all devotees. But she knew that the purity of her mind was way below the level at which His eyes start become visible. With moist eyes, she prayed gazing at the big and beautiful Kalpa Vriksha she drew in her bosom and continued the search for those precious eyes of Her Lord. There was hope in her eyes that one day she would see those eyes with her eyes closed, with her inner eyes! She heard the promise from the tree that one day her wish would be fulfilled.

Here is an unsuccessful attempt of that woman's verbal description of the tree.

1. Who planted this beautiful Gita Vriksha? LORD KRISHNA.

2. What seed Krishna used? UPANISHADS

3. Who was the first one to carefully nurture it? - SHRI VEDA VYASA MAHARSHI

4. What are it's branches? - DIFFERENT YOGAS, SHASTRAS

5. What are it's leaves? - RENUNCIATION AND MATERIAL DESIRELESSNESS

6. What is it's flower buds? - ENLIGHTENMENT OR REALIZATIN OR JNAANAPRABHODHAM

7. What is it's sweet fruit? - UNCONDITIONAL BHAKTHI or SHARANAGATHI

8. Who is in charge of maintaining the Vriksha? - SINCERE DEVOTEES.

9. Which are the two beautiful birds perching on the tree?- JEEVAATMA and PARAMAATMA.

10. What is written on the four huge banners hung on the tree?
