I don't want to post it , because I respect you . if I post people will think I am insulting you. The last para is also meaning you know , we ask excuse to mother earth that we are putting our legs upon her. There is science also behind this After a long sleep when we wake up the body is going to be in vertical position from horizontal position.the heart need more pressure to maintain. to accumulate that our ansters told us please pray 2 minutes on bed while going to bed and when getting up also. about 25 % OF HEART ATTACK in this world is happening while going to bed or while wake up from bed .the reason is what I said above. And Bhuvandanam while wake up is to diffuse the static electricity in your body through your hand to avoid getting arthritis . with regards dilip --- On Sat, 9/13/08, GuruJi <guruji.uae wrote: GuruJi <guruji.uae EARLY MORNING PRAYER: As you get up look at your hands and chant this sloka. karakre vasathe lakshmi karamadye saraswathi ara moolethu govindaha rabhathe kara darshanam [On the tips of the fingers resides Godess Lakshmi, On the wrist resides Godess Saraswati, In the centre of the palm resides lord Govinda Himself, Every morning one should look at the palm with reverence.] God Bless you allGuruJi
