Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya. Dear Dr. Ramakrishnan.Welcome to the group. I listened to some of your songs and enjoyed them. It is nice to see the lyrics to each song, that always helps. Have you composed the music too? Its very enjoyable.I do have a question. One of the first mantras on the page, to Ganesha, is part of the Rig Veda mantra--Gananam twa Ganapathim havamahe, kavim kavinam upamashravasthamam Jyeshtarajam Brahmanam Brahmanaspathim anashrunnan oothibhi sithasadhanamhttp://www.bhakthi-gitanjali.com/songs.html# Then comes these two stanzas below - are they a general prayer to Ganesha or do they have some deeper significance? It would be great if you could provide their meaning. Thanks a lot. Vakkundam Nala Manamumndam (2) Maamalaral Nokkundam (2) Meni Nudungathu Pookkundu (2) Thupparthirumeni Thumbikkayanpaadam (2) Thappamal Sarvarthamakku (2)I have to add that our group is blessed to have members such as yourself. We have Mr. and Mrs NVP Menon (who wrote a welcome mail to you) are divine instruments and spread their music through http://www.gananjali.net/default.htm.Dr A. P. Sukumar is another of the gems in the group. He has sung and recorded among other things, the Ramayana, Bhagavatham, the Narayanaeeyam- http://ramayanam.guruvayoor.com/http://bhagavatham.guruvayoor.com/bhagavathamnithyaparayanam.htm.I hope you will update us as and when you upload new songs.Regards,Veena.--- On Mon, 9/15/08, Ganapathy Ramakrishnan <gramakrishnan100 wrote:Ganapathy Ramakrishnan <gramakrishnan100Re: [Guruvayur] Dr.Ramakrishnanguruvayur Date: Monday, September 15, 2008, 7:44 PM Dear Mr.Kartha, Thnak you or your kind words of introduction.
