Guest guest
Dear Friends,Hari Aum.Sharing with all of you an incident that really happened a few years back in Mumbai. It touched my heart and I am sure all of you will enjoy reading this. This was narrated to me by a friend, who is a great Devotee of the Lord. This real life incident which happened in 1966 or so, in Bombay when there was a great delay in the arrival of Monsoon. It had come to Kerala but not into Karnataka. After Karnataka it comes into Maharashtra and Bombay.Because of the undue delay, people were thinking seriously of evacuating Bombay. At that time ,the Asthika Samajam,Matunga arranged a Pravachanam by Anantha Rama Dikshatar on Virata Parvam. He declared that There would be heavy rains on the 7th day evening when the Pravachanam would end.As usual, he started his daily Pravachanam with a prayer to Sri Guruvayurappan and the Pravachanam would last about two hours daily.Six days passed by,but no sign of any rain.Still the clouds were in Kerala only.People became sceptical. At the end of the 6th day, when the Pravachanam ended and Prasadam distribution was going on,he warned all to bring their umbrellas, raincoats etc the next day. as at the end of the Pravachanam there would be heavy showers! But people didnt believe. When the Pravachanam began on the 7th evening, weather conditions remained the same, dry and warm. When the Pravachanam had hardly ended and the Prasadam distribution was on,lightning, thunder and heavy monsoon showers started pouring cats and dogs! In the whole crowd which was surging inside the Mandapam, for shelter, there was only one small boy of about 10 years holding an umbrella.Seeing this ,AnanthaRama Dikshathar observed,Sri Guruvayurappan in the form of this small boy has brought the rains! It was His Firm Faith that has worked this miracle! Dikshatar never left Guruvayurappan and Guruvayurappan never left him.In fact, He could get Himself freed from the saranagathi clutches of His Devotees!Hantha ! Bhagyam Jananam! May we all attain Saandraananda Bodham.Best RegardsLakshmy
