COURSE HIGHLIGHTS The course will be conducted on telephone by Poojya Poornimaji. All the enrolled members will be given a phone number to dial in and a passcode to authenticate themselves. The course will be conducted for a period of 5 weeks from Oct 20th - Nov 20th. One hour a day and for 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday), the total duration being 20 hours. There are two time options which you can choose from: 1-2 pm ET (10-11 am PT) 9-10 pm ET (6-7 pm PT) The course is open to residents of the United States only. Devotion and sincerity are the only prerequisites for the course. Admission is strictly by registration. There are limited seats and will be allotted on a first-come basis. The medium of instruction will be English The course will consist of talks, reading ('Parayana') exercises, explanation of meanings of the verses and discussions in addition to homework. The complete course details will be updated shortly. All the enrolled members will be provided with study material (in Sanskrit and English), which can be downloaded from our website in a secure manner. Regular attendance to the classes is a mandatory requirement. In the event of continued absence from classes, the candidate faces the risk of being disqualified from further classes. The candidates who successfully complete the 101 course will be provided completion certificates and will be eligible to enroll in the advanced course that is scheduled in Spring 2009. Candidates who attend the course are invited to participate in the Bhagavata Saptaha Maha Yagna being held at Houston between Nov 22 and Nov 29, 2008, where they can meet Poojya Poornimaji and discuss more on the subject.
