The importance of gaining 'knowledge' cannot be downplayed. 'Knowledge' is gained through own and others' experiences. Possessing it through ONLY own experiences is long and painful. 'Satsangh' and scriptures though may not be a complete substitute, it obviously helps in extracting 'right' knowledge.

 

Throughtout 'Gita', 'Bhagavan' has emphasised the importance of 'knowledge'. 'Kaousalam' is derived from 'knowledge'.

 

Looking for more of such illuminating postings.
