Perhaps this episode may be the one which has been widely misused, misinterpreted and criticized. Friends from other religions use this as a weapon to tarnish us saying that your lord has 16008 wives, he performed rasaleela with others wives etc.etc. Due to lack of knowledge about the subject we cannot give them an answer to such comments. There is a practice of using our Bhagwans name “Srikrishna” as a synonym to those who have illicit relationship with girls. It is interesting to note that His age was 7 years only at the time of rasaleela. I have read the same in our Dilipji’s posting earlier. In one translation of Sri Maha Bhagawatham, the author commented that on repeated reading of Rasaleela one can understand the inner meanings. So, for those who do not know Sanskrit, detailed explanations from scholars like you would be very helpful. Thank you for the postings. Expecting more detailed studies.
