Namasthe- Bhogi, thyagi and a bhaktha

Dear all,

 

Here is a description of a bhogi, thyagi and bhaktha given by Srila

Prabhupada based on an incident:

 

There was a meeting in a big hall and lot of people attended the

meeting. A 1000 Rs bill was lying on the floor, obviously fell from

someone's pocket.

 

Reaction of a Bhogi: " Here is a 1000 Rs bill. I will take this bill

when nobody is watching and use it for something. "

 

Reaction of a Thyagi: Here is a 1000 Rs bill. Why should I touch it?

It belongs to somebody else. Let it remain there. "

 

Reaction of a Bhaktha: " Here is 1000 Rs bill. It is my responsibility

to find out the owner and give the money. He will be so sad when he

finds out about the loss.

 

This gives me some food for thought and I thought I will share with

all of you.
