Guest guest
Om Namo NarayanaJust joined the Group recently and read a few of the messages that have been posted. All the messages teach us something and I may hasten to add that I have become a little wiser in the path of spirituality as I am always a Student of Life and we can learn from everybody. I thought I can share a few Useful and Noble thoughts which I had sent to my various contacts a few days back. I hope the group members will find these quotes useful and will be benefitted by the members.Regards & Respects to allSVS[s.V.Subramaniam] THE SPIRIT OF GENEROSITY Generosity means more than just giving. It also means to cooperate with others. The greatest act of generosity is to see beyond the weaknesses of others, helping them to recognise their innate value. SUFFERING & SATISFACTION Suffering arises when we long for our experience to be something other than what it is. Satisfaction arises when we savour the richness of our experience as it is. ACCEPTANCE Full acceptance of whatever is arising in this moment is pure and absolute freedom. WISDOM You are a wise soul who unlocks the mysteries of life by beginning with the self. WHAT YOU NEED It is silence when your words would hurt. It is patience when your neighbours curt. It is deafness when a scandal flows. It is thoughtful for others woes. It is promptness when stern duty calls. It si courage when misfortune falls. -- Oscar Wilde THE INNER KEY The inner lies in our commitment of being in heaven and not reaching to heaven. Our life can be wasted in our commitment to go to heaven and miss being in heaven. One has to learn to live the moment totally in love and joy. Learn to squeeze the moment. One's effort becomes divine when one tries to bring a new quality within; the quality where one is non-attached and at the same time concerned; where one should be able to convert one's business into a temple and not a temple into a business. We are born with this potential and we should make this potential a reality. We may commit many mistakes in the process and that makes us human. A student asked, "I am scared that I may make mistakes and hence not putting effort". The master replied, "People who make no mistakes are making the biggest mistake, for they are not attempting anything new and hence one cannot be creative".
