Hare Krishna ! Dear Devotees ,

 

Each vedic temple came into existence, as willed by it's Deity to

enlighten Devotees and remove their difficulties in this destructive

Kali-yuga .

 

Before His return to Vaikuntam , Bhagavan Shree Krishna handed over a

*Vigraha* ( Deity) to disciple Uddhava for the construction of

Guruvayoor temple . By Kshetra-Darshan and associated Nama-japa and

Satsang , God realization flowers in the lives of commoners .

 

Temples are covering the non-availability of Rishis and Gurus in

Kali-yuga. The pro-active interface in place between the Deity and

Devotees facilitates the smooth functioning of temples and timely

updating of traditions.

 

Bhagavan Shree Krishna confirms in Uddhava Gita " :

 

* The devotee should more fully establish My Deity by solidly

constructing a temple, along with beautiful gardens. These gardens

should be set aside to provide flowers for the regular daily worship,

special Deity processions and holiday observances.

 

* One who offers

the Deity gifts of land, markets, cities and villages so that the

regular daily worship and special festivals of the Deity may go on

continually will achieve opulence equal to My own.

 

* By installing

the Deity of the Lord one becomes king of the entire earth, by building a temple for the Lord one becomes ruler of the three worlds, by worshiping and serving the Deity one goes to the planet of Lord Brahma, and by performing all three of these activities one achieves a

transcendental form like My own.

 

* But one who simply engages in

devotional service with no consideration of fruitive results attains Me.Thus whoever worships Me according to the process I have described will ultimately attain pure devotional service unto Me. * Anyone who steals the property of the Devatas or the Brahmanas, whether originally given to them by himself or someone else, must live as a worm in stool for one hundred million years.

 

* Not only the performer of the theft

but also anyone who assists him, instigates the crime, or simply

approves of it must also share the reaction in the next life. According to their degree of participation, they each must suffer a proportionate consequence.

 

Beware of Anti-Temple Tirade by FAKE " Swamis"

 

An ex- political activist later associated with Chinmaya-mission for sometime and then abandoned it . Despite not attaining Sannyasa , he is in the Spiritual-Business as a "Swami" . This self-styled "Swami" is trying to promote desecration of Temples . Some of his recent utterances are given below ,as a warning :

 

* Temples have become a liability to society . Temple-faith is not

Hinduism . It is superstition . Behind the construction and renovation

of temples , there is a mafia of Administators , Jyothishis and

Officials. "Devaprasnam" by Jyothishis is mere superstition .

Many such illological activities are happening in the temples to exploit people .

 

* God doesn't need the coins offered in temples .

Deity worship and associated "Acharams" for worldly purposes,

only create terrorists. This is the root cause of all problems facing

the society and India .

 

* Jyothishis are exploiting the people .

Spending money from their pockets , people are consulting Jyothishis to remove sins through atonements and to know the future . What a pity !

 

* Devas and Devis are imagined in human form only to make it easy for

common people . Puranas and Ithihasas were made only for the same

purpose . Most Vedantis don't believe that "Characters" of

these "Stories" like Rama or Krishna ever lived . The person who

wrote these "Stories" was only trying to give some ideas to the

readers. However , now a days these "Characters" are becoming

more important than those "Ideas" . When an Atheist questions a

Temple-worshipper , the latter escapes with a lame excuse " It is

the question of my faith".

 

* Temples must become the "Nursery Schools" and "Public Out reach Centres" of Hinduism , in order to produce "Philosophers" who can write "NEW" Veda-samhitas .

 

* "Reincarnation- theory" is not essential for Hinduism . Only due to misunderstanding people claim so .

 

* Hinduism has not authorixed any person or group to protect

the reigion whose essence is Vedanta . If some one tries to support

Hinduism , the loss is for him and the country . * Bhagavatam

contains lot of sexual descriptions. Acharyas of

"Bhagavata-saptaham " in temples are avoiding such descriptions

only to avoid loss of "Dakshina" from women listeners . ( Note

: A leading Vedic scholar rubbished this "Swamy"and his abusive

claim by quoting Swamy Vivekananda " Any one who understands the

inner truth of the relationship between Krishna and Gopikas, has

already attained enlightenment and therefore he need not read Gita for

further knowledge " )

 

Conclusion

 

In recent times , the anti-vedic vested interests have tried their level

best to blow out of proportion isolated unfortunate incidents in the

Hindu-society . Also , they tried to corrupt the sacred

*Kshetra-Acharams* of temples like Guruvayoor by sponsoring public

agitations like "Satyagraha" . Thanks to Bhagavan's

intervention , all those conspiracies failed miserably . Consequently ,

these evil forces are using such greedy "Fake- Swamis" as

PROs to destroy Temples , the back born of Vedic faith .
