Namasthe- Jugglers and God

Dear all,

We are all jugglers juggling with several balls namely work, family, health, friends, spirit etc etc. Some balls stretch to some extent, some can probably withstand some force, but most of the balls are made of glass and if we drop them, it can chip the glass, make permanent marks on those or if dropped with force can even shatter the whole thing. So it is wise to balance all the balls very carefully in our life.

Now the question of how to effectively balance them arises and Scriptures repeatedly advise us to do the balancing by remembering God in every step of our life. Does that mean that God micromanages our existence? Definitely not. While embracing the uncertainty of life, God helps us to feel His Universal presence and oneness. Faith gives us the comfort of walking in His shadow. It helps us to put an honest effort in to everything we do and leave the results to His grace. Awareness of the Infinite with in us gives life focus, peace and calmness and helps to navigate our way based on the frame work of spiritual values.

While spinning endlessly on the wheel of time, the only person who can change our direction or bless us to escape from the wheel of time is the one who controls the spinning or the Lord of Time or Lord beyond time.

Shankachakragadapaane! Dwaarakaa nilayaachyutha!

Govinda! Pundarikasha! raksha maam sharanaagatham.

Dear Savitriji,A question has often come to my mind about " why compartmentalize our lifeinto sections such as work, family, friends etc.? " Only when we compartmentalize, the need for juggling arises, right?

If we take life as one continuous string and where ever we are is where the Lordhas placed us. If we live and act with full awareness of the Lord and dedicateeverything to Him every moment of our life, there is no distinction. His Presence

is what we concentrate on and everything else drops. With Love & RegardsLakshmyOn Thu, Jan 8, 2009 at 4:59 AM, Savitri Puram <savitriopuram wrote:

Dear Lakshmiji,

You are absolutely right and when we see life as " Suthre manigana iva " where the soothram or string is God. Every incident, every chapter, every emotion, every area of life is strung on that strong string. I meant the same thing, but I think I put it differently by reinforcing the need to see and feel His presence to help us cross the ocean of life.
