Guest guest
HARI AUM Last month I travelled to Kochi and had some work till about 11 at night. Instead of wasting the night planned to be at 'his' abode for 'Nirmalyam'. When contacted the hotel just to remind them of the room booked sufficiently earlier I was surprised at their helplessness. Being holiday and marriage season there were just no rooms available. Since meeting 'him' was not just one way I dumped the responsibility of finding a room on 'him'. Surprisingly I met an old friend to whom I impressed, to his reluctance, that he has strong contacts in Guruvayur and can get me a room. This thrusting upon of the responsibility started working. He was on phone for sometime and came up with a confirm room with discounts!!! and that too at Rugmini Regency, part of the Rugmini Kalyanamandapam, the oldest private marraige hall.(In fact I had remembered the place just a few days back on some occassion). On arriving at 2 am I find Sreenivasan, the counter clerk happily awake and waiting for me. He said the whole of Guruvayur is left with no room and it was a surprise that exactly when he was being contacted at late night at 10 this room got vacated, very unusually, due to some urgency on the part of that pilgrim. Truly 'he' is a very very dependable friend. Just keep our side of the promise, 'he' will do 'his'-'..na mey bhakthaha pranasyati' Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy! Guest guest
Dear Balagopalji: Your story is so sweet and so Him. The synchronicity of events never ceases to amaze me. Thank you again for bringing me to this group...I guess you were the " old friend " who found me the room, only He was the one who thrust the responsibility upon you :-) And on that note, for some reason, He wanted me to be in this group, Guruvayur... There must be a plethora of Krishna devotee groups on and I had actually been thinking of looking for a group as the groups I was in were not meeting my needs for sangha as His devotee. Then came Guruvayur... I feel as though I need to know a little more about Him in this manifestation and its significance to this time in particular...one of the bhajans I am learning Veeramani Kanda, has a verse which refers to Him as ... Kaliyuga varada ayyappa, Kalikala deva ayyappa... and I wonder what this means,,,I know it has to so with His in the Kaliyuga, but what is varada? And that He is the deva (Lord or God of) the Kalikala, which I do not know the meaning of. So I know that He holds a special significance to this Yuga but I am not sure what is considered to be. When I google on Guruvayurappa, I mostly get links to Temples, with little information other than their schedule. I am beginning to realize that it is not because I am bad at googling...it is because He wants me to get it elsewhere, namely, from other devotees. So, I do hope that my frequent requests for information will be recevied in this light...His light. ....na mey bhakthaha pranasyati' Translation please? Jai Shri Krishna!!!!
