Nambiar, a well known businessman who started the venture under the bnanner of G B TRANSPORT . Until then there was no transport service to and from Guruvyoor. Ordinary people trvelled long distances on foot for the Bhagavn's darshan. The rich and wealthy travelled by bullock cart and the affluent used horse-drawn cart. Realising the hardship of the common people Sri Nambiar took the initiative and introduced the bus service. The devotees also needed a place to stay . That was Mr Nmbiar's next priority; hence the establishment of Sreekrishna Vilasom Lodge and Madhavi Buildings in West Nada. For the devotees' entertainment he started Sree Krishna Movie theatre and provided a Generator for street lighting. He also had the West Nada paved in concrete. On every anniversry of the starting of the bus service Sree Nambiar arranged for Udaystamana Pooja. Sree Nambiar passed away in 1965.
