Dear Devotees,

Sri Parashakthi Temple is performing Dhanyadivasam of sri Guruvayurappan, Kodungallor Bhagawathy and Chottanikkara Bhagawathy on Saturday May 9th, 2009. Please join us in this once in lifetime event and be blessed by the most powerful goddess Sri Parashakthi.

The Triangular Connection

All three deities in Guruvayur, Kodungalloor and Chottanikkara respectively in Kerala were sanctified by the yanthra Prathishta carried out individually at each temple by Adi shankara who is a historically verifiable saint considered to be an Avathar of Lord Shiva. The Sreechakra Yanthram was prepared by Adishankara and was placed by him at the two bhagawathy temples and likewise in addition to establishing the rituals at Guruvayur, ADI Shankara also carried out the Yanthra Prathishta at this temple. Our temple is the first and only one to establish a common place of worship for all three of these deities in the same place thus giving an opportunity to every devotee to have darshan and blessings of Lord Krishna , Mother Bhadrakali and Rarajarajeswari Amman at the same time. In our temple also, appropriate Yanthra Prathishta will be carried out before the actual Prathishta on June 7 th. More....

I. Cosmological PerspectivesAccounts of creation in the Puranas: emphasis on complementarity

Brahman Vishnu/Shiva (purusha)-the Goddess (Shakti/prakriti) Created Universe The human body: Cakras, Kundalini Larger issues and questions· Goddess as cosmogonic agent· creation as necessitating the generative capacity of both genders· Maleness and femaleness pervade the universe on all levels: exoteric/esoteric dimensions of the Goddess· God and Goddess both play a role in maintaining the functioning of the universe as we know it

II. Devotional Perspectives A. The Goddess as Shakti: Female Power in Action· The constructive/destructive powers of the Goddess· The constructive/benevolent nature of Shakti· Sarasvati and "flow" (artistic and musical inspiration, learning, meditation, and so forth)· Shri-Lakshmi and auspiciousness (abundance, fertility, wealth, children, and so forth)· The Destructive nature of Shakti: The Devi-Mahatmya (ca. 6th century C.E.) > Durga > Kali Larger Issues· the sacralization of ordinary life (learning, artistic creation, money, marriage, fertility, and so forth-even death)· the complexity of divine female power: femaleness is not just creative and benevolent but also dangerous and destructive; both life and death; represents the full spectrum of power (compare to conceptions of the goddess in feminist spirituality) B. The Goddess as

Prakriti, manifest as the physical universe· The earth as a goddess (Bhu-devi, Prithivi)· The Goddess as Mother India (Bharat Mata) --rivers (e.g., Ganga, Yamuna) --trees, groves, vegetation (e.g., Tulsi) --Grains (goddess Annapurna)· village and regional goddesses: dynamic of local vs. universal Larger Issues and questions · Transcending the spiritual/material divide: Transcendence and immanence; the material world as a form of the Divine

Dear Sunil,

Below is the website URL for this temple, please do not skip the INTRO. It is worth listening. During our last stay in Michigan, we could not visit the temple but will make sure to go there and provide more information. In the meantime, as requested, if anyone had been there or from Michigan (Pontiac) area may provide more details. While Auto industries are failing there, this may revive that area with HIS blessings.

Dear Udhayabahnuji,

You are right, I am also getting a possible Trojan virus alert when I open the

temple link.

There is a small possibility that the temple website is hacked and hackers added

malicious virus code to the site to capture online visitor details.

This kind of attack is aimed at many religous sites irrespective of religion.

That is why we need to be extra careful when hosting sites to avoid such hacks.

I will notify the temple web master about the problem and hopefully they can

rectify it soon.

Thank you.

more details. While Auto industries are failing there, this may revive that area

Kodungallor Bhagawathy and Chottanikkara Bhagawathy on Saturday May 9th, 2009.

Please join us in this once in lifetime event and be blessed by the most

powerful goddess Sri Parashakthi.

Kerala were sanctified by the yanthra Prathishta carried out individually at

each temple by Adi shankara who is a historically verifiable saint considered to

be an Avathar of Lord Shiva. The Sreechakra Yanthram was prepared by Adishankara

and was placed by him at the two bhagawathy temples and likewise in addition to

establishing the rituals at Guruvayur, ADI Shankara also carried out the Yanthra

Prathishta at this temple. Our temple is the first and only one to establish a

common place of worship for all three of these deities in the same place thus

giving an opportunity to every devotee to have darshan and blessings of Lord

Krishna , Mother Bhadrakali and Rarajarajeswari Amman at the same time. In our

temple also, appropriate Yanthra Prathishta will be carried out before the

actual Prathishta on June 7 th.

the march of time. The inexorable march of time is inexorable only because Lord

Kaala Bhairava makes it so. As the saying goes, time lost is lost forever.

There's nothing more precious than time. So, intelligent humans should use every

moment effectively on the spiritual path. And those who want to do this have the

divine help of Lord Kaala Bhairava if they request it with sincerity. Kala

Bhairava worship is very important in this Kali Yuga. For protection from bombs,

biological and chemical poisons and

those who are connected with the punya bhoomi of Bharata (India) have a God

given responsibility to pray for the entire world. One of these requirements is

Sri Kaala Bhairava pooja for the welfare of the entire world
