Hare Krishna!

 

The discussion about Vaijayanthi reminded me of one of the doubt I had for a

long time. Usually garland is a closed loop. In all most all pictures

Guruvayoorappan (in the form of Vishnu and in some cases in the baby form)the

garland's end are not tied. it is shown to worn as a " shawl " . Is there a

reason?
