Guest guest
HARI AUM PRECISION is the key to excellence. Even the number of 'thiris' (wicks) that are needed at Guruvayur maintains this PRECISION. It is 8000 small and 1030 big 'thiris' totalling to 9030 per day (which amost doubles up for 'vilakku') . This requirement is well tied to the 'koyma' of 'Azheekal' & 'Manayath' Nair families. This service is conducted without fail, everyday, that the thighs of men in these families have calloused skins due to the rolling of 'thiris' incessantly. (courtsey: 'Heaven on Earth) To a devotee, perhaps, these are insignificant informations, but knowing that there is a human side to every aspect of even divinity, I think lifts one's spiritual cognition to a level of compassion and better understanding of events and surroundings. 'He' is truly the most COMPASSIONATE. Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA From Chandigarh to Chennai - find friends all over India.
