HARI AUM

'Atma Bodha' of Shree Sankara conveys the message of jnana yoga (the path of

knowledge) to the layman. The following verse is a factual experience to

everybody. While asleep how innocent one is ! And on waking up we all wear our

identification garbs and go about expressing the content 'vasanas'.

verse 23: " Attachment, desire, pleasure, pain, etc., are perceived to exist so

long as Buddhi or mind functions. They are not perceived in deep sleep when the

mind ceases to exist. Therefore they belong to the mind alone and not to the

Atman. "
