Guest guest
Namaste, It is good to know that Manju Ambady's dad's surgery went well and he is recovering nicely. So many things could have gone wrong, yet nothing did because of God's grace. We too have been praying frevently for him to Puthur Shiva. We are very sure Puthur Shiva and all the devatas at the Puthur Shiva temple made sure the surgery went well, given the odds. When I was young, my grandfather used to often tell us kids a story. A man lost a gold coin that the King had given him. In those days, a gold coin was worth a lot of money. So this man was really sad. He looked everywhere but couldn't find it. Then he prayed fervently to God. Just as he did so, he found the coin. So the man prayed to God " Never mind God, I found it myself " . My grandfather used to say we should not be like that man. We should always be grateful to God. Manju, I hope, when you dad is better, you will take him to Puthur Shiva temple (and ofcourse Guruvayoor) and thank God. If your dad can't travel, then I hope a member of your family will. Be sure to visit Venugopalamurthy (Lord Krishna) also. He is in the same temple complex but a little to the back. When I went there last year, I felt the urge to sit down in front of him. Then tears welled up. I looked around. Since no one was looking, not a soul in sight, I let myself sob for a while. When I walked away, I felt a H.U.G.E. load lift off me. Since then I have so much love welling up inside me for Puthur Shiva, all I want to do is chant his name. with regards, lk guruvayur , NVP Menon <nvpmenon wrote: > > Thank you, Santosh for the reply.
