Guest guest
“G u r u m u k h a p a d m a v a k y a " We cannot imitate great souls …..………...... Nectarean Mellows Actually Lord Caitanya demonstrated four qualities in a unique way of four of his associates and if any one tries to imitate these four people they will die, spiritually. Tolerance was Haridas Thakura; beaten in 22 marketplaces and yet he was crying; not because of his pain but because he is feeling sorry for the people who are beating him, because he is thinking - they are going to get bad karma for this. In fact Visnu took the Sudarsana Chakra to kill those executioners but Haridas Thakura was praying so much that Krsna gives them bhakti that Krsna forgives them, his prayers made Krsna powerless to punish them, so he had to cover Haridas Thakura’s body with His own to protect him. This is tolerance. And Sanatana Goswami was the very embodiment of humility, although he had power, he had wealth, he had high education, he had everything, all the abilities, capabilities, yet he considered himself as a piece of straw in the street, useless, wasted, more fallen and sinful than Jagai and Madhai, no one can have that quality except such great persons. And there was Damodar Pandit, his qualities, he could criticise the Lord and please the Lord. He would practically hold a stick over Lord Caitanya’s head and say do this, don’t do this, stick of his words and Lord Caitanya would be ecstatic to taste the sweetness of Damodar Pandit’s chastisement. And Ramananda Raya for his equanimity and self control, he while performing such a service as we have just explained, he remains completely transcendental, fixed in Krsna. H H Radhanath Swami Maharaj . -- Take advantage of this rare opportunity of this human form of life. There are 8,400,000 different species of life through which we are rotating lifetime after lifetime. So getting a human body is not an every day affair. This most auspicious opportunity only comes after many millions of lifetimes in the lower species. Anyone who does not utilize their human life for self-realization is making the greatest mistake. When this happens it is the greatest tragedy, and unfortunately today this neglect of the human form has become the standard behavior for the entire human society. What can be done? We must first ourselves become solidly situated in Krishna consciousness and then do the highest welfare activity of spreading to everyone else all over the world.
