Muraliji,

What a wonderful name you have. Murali! manoharam ! Your name itself will

suffice to develop concentration. Think of Bhagavan holding His golden flute in

His hands and stnding under the Parijtha tree. Concentrate on that marvellous

form and chant His holy name repeatedly. To help you concentrate further, use a

japa mala when chanting. This way one does not have to divert one's thoughts on

to the counting process. Chant the Maha mntra at least 108 times a day in one

sitting. Do it in a quiet place with minimum distractions.

Our mind is like a wild horse. It has no directions or a straight path, Like the

horse, it has to be mellowed, trained and only then it could be controlled.

It is Bhagavan's Maya. The mind wanders. it is its nature.

Let it go, let it wander whereever it wants, the good way or the bad way. But

slowly by daily practice try to bring it under control little by little.

,all the time keeping a transperant vision of the Lord in front of your eyes.

Practice makes it perfect.

In Gita Bhagavan says:

" If you cannot concentrate

your thought firmly on me,

then seek to reach me, Arjuna,

by discipline in practice.

Even if you fail in practice,

dedicate yourself to action;

performing actions for my sake,

you will achieve success.

If you are powerless to do

even this, rely on my discipline,

be self controlled

and reject all fruit of action. "

Gita verse 9-11 - Chapter 12.

READ A VERSE FROM THE GITA EVERYDAY !

jai shree krishna !

can do to avoid this. Is it sinful to do like this. Expecting valuble
