Simply be attached to service..……….…...... Nectarean Mellows

Devotees, they try to control their senses by giving up sense gratification so that the senses can be fully used for the pleasure of Krsna. And how do we use them in the pleasure of Krsna; that is according to Krsna’s desire. Prabhupada would sometime say if you are living under a tree and you are asked to live in a palace, you should not be attached to your tree and if you are living in a palace and Krsna wants you under a tree, you should not be attached to your palace; we should simply be attached to service. And of course, we know the best way to serve Krsna is to serve His devotees and as we learnt from yesterday every living entity is part and parcel of Krsna, thus every living being has a relationship with Krsna. So in today’s verse we are learning from Lord Kapila Deva specifically according to our particular relationship with another living being how we should serve them.

H H Radhanath Swami MaharajTake advantage of this rare opportunity of this human form of life.  There are 8,400,000 different species of life through which we are rotating lifetime after lifetime. So getting a human body is not an every day affair. This most auspicious opportunity only comes after many millions of lifetimes in the lower species. Anyone who does not utilize their human life for self-realization is making the greatest mistake. When this happens it is the greatest tragedy, and unfortunately today this neglect of the human form has become the standard behavior for the entire human society. What can be done? We must first ourselves become solidly situated in Krishna consciousness and then do the highest welfare activity of spreading to everyone else all over the world.

Chant:Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare HareHare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare
